This report includes my own personal experience of taking the cattle to the Show, and also my visit to the Haltcliffe herd open day under Matt and Craig Ridley’s expertise in Wigton, Cumbria whilst I was in the area. The Limousin National Show celebrating 40 years of the breed in the UK also received a lot of attention, with the judge Aled Edwards from Llandovery having a hard time with the standard that was there with competitors having travelled from every corner of the country.
